This October, Let's Make Orange and Sullivan Counties Fearless!
Join us in raising awareness and sparking meaningful conversations within your community by posting our lawn sign in your yard throughout October, and let everyone know that support is here for survivors of domestic violence. #Every1KnowsSome1
Lawn signs can be obtained at our Fearless! office in Newburgh, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, during any of our upcoming Clothesline Events, and at our Celebration of Hope Brunch on October 1st. If you can't make it during those times, please reach out to us.
Your $25 donation will directly contribute to the life-changing services provided by Fearless! Hudson Valley for victims and survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other crime victimization. We thank you for your support.
But Why October? In the 1980s, to amplify the voices of survivors and unite advocates nationwide, Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) was established as an opportunity to shed light on the experiences of those affected by violence and to connect them with support systems. One in three women and one in four men have faced physical violence from an intimate partner. This October, let's commit to educating ourselves about domestic violence/intimate partner violence and rally together because #Every1KnowsSome1.
